At this time, we have a few older pups available. They will come with a good start on potty and crate training. Some families prefer older pups because they are much more mature mentally. They have longer attention spans and seem to take to training with ease. We have also reduced adoption fees, in order to find a home a little sooner. (Please inquire) You may place a deposit on any available puppy shown on our website, in order to reserve him/her on this page. Our website is updated daily.
If you have decided to make one of our puppies a family member, and prefer to be added to a future wait list, you may make a deposit of 250.00 by Venmo or Zelle, which will put your name on a reserve list. Any fees incurred by electronic payment companies will be added to your invoice. Please note parents’ names of your two favorite litters in the space provided. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason. If you have made a deposit to be placed on an upcoming reservation list, you understand and agree to be committed to adopting a puppy from Rockadoodles. PLEASE DO NOT PUT DEPOSITS DOWN WITH OTHER BREEDERS AT THE SAME TIME. We commit hours and hours (and sometimes weeks) of valuable time visiting with potential customers, only for them to back out on selection day at the last minute. We understand that some life situations are unpredictable, and you may transfer your deposit to a future litter that works better for you at ANY time.
Puppy selection is scheduled when the litter is between 6-7 weeks old. We will have three photo shoots and videos posted before selection day. We do not do Facetime calls. We will start at the top of the reserve list and contact you when it’s your turn. You may let me know your favorite pups, and we will visit about temperament, size and coat quality at that time, not sooner. We will also take additional photos comparing your favorites, if you like. Selection starts at 9:00 am, 10:00 am or noon (depending on litter size) and each family is given one hour to make their decision. Please review all photos posted in albums labeled with mother’s name on Facebook. Videos are also posted on our Facebook page called Rockadoodles, but you may also see them on our YouTube channel.
We DO NOT accept final payment through PayPal or Venmo. Preferred payment for balance due is cash or cashier check made to Rockadoodles. You will receive an invoice the week prior to your puppy coming home. Please don’t worry if you have not received your invoice, it’s coming! The last week is spent doing invoices and health records for the whole litter, as well as finishing up deworming and vaccination protocol. We are very busy the last week before your puppy’s graduation. Thank you so much for your patience!
Health certificates are required for any puppy crossing state lines. Our vet charges 30.00 for this service, which will be added to your balance due, if you live in a state other than Tennessee.
Your puppy will be ready to go home at the age of eight weeks old, with some exceptions for bigger litters when he/she may be held to stay with Momma a little longer.
Fee for delivery to our northern (MN, IA, WI. IL), East Coast, GA or FL, Midwest and TX customers starts 650.00 and depends on airline fees at the time. Airport mileage fee to BNA is 50.00. If you would like to drive to pick up, we will meet you two to three hours from our farm for .50 a mile, or you may also choose to drive to the farm. West Coast customers may fly in to pick up, or we are occasionally fly pups to you if pick up is impossible. Picking up at the Nashville airport will be much more economical for you. Puppy flight fee is 95.00 on Southwest and American and 125.00 on Delta. We DO NOT ship puppies via cargo.
What you can expect:
Your puppy will receive his first immunizations, including one Nobivac Bordetella (kennel cough), two Neopar (parvo), and a Duramune Max 5 w/Lepto. Dewormers administered are four doses of Pyrantel Pamoate, a five-day round of Safeguard, and two treatments for coccidiosis. If your puppy stays longer, you can expect him/her to continue the vaccination schedule appropriate for his/her age, including rabies. Your gift bag will include one quart of Victor Beef recipe for puppies, a blanket with mom and litter scent, chew toys, treat bag, and a collar. Your puppy will also come with a microchip. All you need to do is call the number or go to the website provided on the card in your packet to register your puppy in your name. We use the Pro ID Mini Chip. The fee for registering your puppy’s microchip is 25.00 for his/her lifetime.

We encourage our customers to choose two favorite litters, but the majority will only be welcoming one puppy to their home. We believe this gives YOUR family more options because it is hard to know which litter you will like best, when the litters are usually not born before you place your deposit. Most families are pleasantly surprised when they get a message saying it’s their turn to choose and are thrilled to see more puppies to select from than they expected! Keep an eye on the website as we have selections because the lists will change drastically, as families select their puppies and are removed from other lists.
While it is of utmost importance for you to choose the right breeder for your family, we also desire to send our puppies home with the very best committed families, who will provide a wonderful home for them.
Breeding dogs with an expected positive outcome, is not an exact science. Your pup may grow to be a little bigger or smaller than our estimated weight range, or may possibly turn out a different color than we expected. We do not cover size or color in our health guarantee. As breeders, we do our absolute best to predict all outcomes.
We are committed to keeping our bitches and studs at optimal health in order to achieve a successful, healthy litter of puppies; but, sometimes, for unknown reasons, a female fails to produce a litter or has an unusually small litter. THIS IS WHY we encourage our clients to choose two favorite litters (for one deposit). You may also transfer to another list at any time for any reason, once you have placed your deposit. If you are hoping for a particular look, such as blue eyes or certain markings, there is a chance you may be waiting for over a year and sometimes up to two years. Breeding for specific requests is sometimes very difficult as we are not in control of mother nature. Once you place a deposit with us, please be as committed to us as we are committed to you. We will work our ABSOLUTE hardest to achieve the desired litter and provide your family with the puppy of your dreams!
